Been meaning to try this place out for quite some time and finally got the chance. Just wish I’d tried it sooner - this place is great!! Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Started with the salsa bar, which was nice. Lots of choices on the menu. Food came quickly and was delicious! This place is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area for Mexican food. Highly recommend!!

After living in Tucson, AZ for 15 years, we know Mexican food. La Cienega is authentic, not Sonoran but close, so not much in the way of central Mexican moles and such like. We've been 5 times and it is our go to Mexican despite a 40 minute drive to get there. Service has always been attentive and excellent, and typically no wait time to be seated. Salsa bar is a pick your own flight. Many good choices. Entrees never fail to please. We love it.

The restaurant has expanded into more space. They now have a full size bar and much larger seating options with booths now too. The delicious Salsa bar with variety of fresh Pico and salsa is much bigger and has a dedicated space now. Service is still Fast and very friendly. Portondls are great and prices very reasonable! Highly recommended checking this place out!!
